Question 1

How much does processing cost?

Accepted Answer

Gracia charges per minute of processed content: Streaming/VR tier is $800/min with a minimum charge per segment. VFX tier is $2,500/min for broadcast or film quality. Volume discounts for 40-50+ min/year can reduce the per-minute cost. Capture is separate, typically $15-20K/day via partners.

Question 2

Do you do capture, or just processing?

Accepted Answer

Processing only. Workflow: client -> capture partner -> Gracia, usually 3-5 days, then .mint/.PLY delivery. We refer clients without a local partner to the nearest option.

Question 3

What rig/camera setup do I need?

Accepted Answer

Required: shutter sync and genlock with hardware-synchronized cameras. Best value: iPhone 17 with native genlock. Professional: Blackmagic. Broadcast: Sony FR7 at 4K 60fps. Avoid GoPro and Insta360 because they do not provide reliable sync. Full 360 capture usually needs around 60 cameras.

Question 4

What formats do you output?

Accepted Answer

.mint for proprietary temporal stability, or a .PLY sequence. SDKs include Unity, Unreal, and WebXR. Standalone local playback is supported. Splat tiers: Streaming 100-125K, VR 200-300K, VFX up to 1M.

Question 5

Can we do a test first?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer 1-2 min free processing to validate rig and workflow. This is standard for new partners and international clients.
